So recently, Oppo launched their latest product, and in this article, we are here to give you the Oppo Reno 2 Review, which includes the full specifications, features and price.
What’s New With the Oppo Reno 2 ?
You get a sturdy and an eye catching design. A large and AMOLED screen, great battery life, solid performance and versatile flagship grade cameras on both front and back. The phone is made from gorilla glass with an aluminium frame.
The camera bump is one of the coolest thing for me, and the vertical Oppo logo which is outline by a neon glow where it basically gets its light. Volume is below average on headphone. The navigation on the Reno 2 can be done either with the on-screen key or 1 or 2 gesture setup.
The new Oppo Reno 2 also includes a premium case in the box which is synthetic but feels a lot more like leather.
SCREEN
It has a large screen of 6.5 inch, suitable for gaming.
You get good brightness here, but there is no boost in auto mode in a bright light condition, so direct Sunlight makes things a bit difficult to read at times. The always-on display on the Oppo Reno 2 will give you the time and date but unfortunately won’t let you know about notifications.
Does Oppo Reno 2 Have Fingerprint ?
Yes…. The Oppo Reno 2 optical fingerprint reader sits beneath the display. Waking up the phone is fast and painless and more reliable.
CAMERA
One thing that makes it seem even larger is the tiny top bezel which keeps the selfie camera hidden inside the body, and the pop-up selfie module is pretty satisfying to open and close, plus it is fast enough to use for facial recognition without any lag, and be rest assured of no breakage as it moves up and down the line.
The Camera is great. It has four rare camera with distinct functions.
48MP (f/1.7, OIS, main) + 13MP (f/2.4, telephoto) + 8MP (f/2.2, ultra wide) which has auto-focus + 2MP (f/2.4, B/W) has monochrome sensor for portrait mode.
The zooming is amazing. You have the freedom to zoom up to 10x and still retain its quality. You will appreciate this feature especially when recording.
Photos from the main Camera comes with 12 megapixels and they are excellent with plenty of details. The sharpening is great, accurate in colour, good contrast and wide dynamic range
The telephoto does pretty well, it helps you get a fancy periscope. The photos come out clear and detailed with decent dynamic range.

STORAGE
There is a lot of storage available on board. It has 128 or 256 gigs to choose from and expandable too to give you more space.
And Apps?
One useful app is the “so loop” app which is bundled along with the phone. The app offers a lot of editing features, For instance, it can automatically add music to match the timing of your cut when video editing
One of the upgrade over the previous model is the new chip-set. A Snapdragon 730 G which is built on an 8 nano-meter process. It’s quite similar to the Snapdragon 730 but a little bit more higher.
The AI optimizations are said to improve battery life too.
It has 4000 Mah power battery with an excellent endurance rating of over 102 hours
And the Game space gives you options for performance. Notification and brightness for enabled games
Charger comes with 20 watt Volt flash charging. It can go from 0 to 40% within 30 minutes of charging. It’s fast, but not incredibly fast.
